DIRECTIONS TO ROME FREE ACADEMY

From West:
New York State Thruway (I-90) to exit 33 (Verona). Take Route 365 E to Rome. Take Griffiss Park exit to Route 825. Enter Griffiss Park and take the first left at Dart Circle to Rome Free Academy.

From East:
New York State Thruway (I-90) to Exit 31 (Utica). Take Route 49 W to Rome. Take Griffiss Park exit to Route 825. Enter Giffiss Park and take the first left at Dart Circle to Rome Free Academy.

From North:
Route 12S to Barneveld exit. Follow Route 365 W to end right on River Road past King Pin Bowling Alley. Take next right to route 825. Enter Giffiss Park and take the first left at Dart Circle to Rome Free Academy.

From South:
Route 81 N to Syracuse, and follow route 481 N to NYS Thruway take thruway and head east to exit 33 (Verona). Take Route 365 E to Rome. Take Griffiss Park exit to Route 825. Enter Griffiss Park and take the first left at Dart Circle to Rome Free Academy.

DIRECTIONS LEAVING ROME FREE ACADEMY

RFA to Staley
At the end of Dart Circle take a right onto 825S. Take your first right following signs for 365, at the bottom of the road turn right onto East Dominick Street. Follow for at least a mile or until you find Sixth Street, going through 3 sets of lights. Turn right onto Sixth Street, at your first light turn left onto E. Bloomfield Street. The school will be on your left. Park on the side toward the rear of the school.

RFA to Strough
At the end of Dart Circle turn left onto 825N. Stay on 825 until you are out of Griffiss Park. The road will turn into Chestnut Street. Stay straight on Chestnut until you get to Turin St, also called Rt. 26, take a left onto Turin St. When you get to the RFA stadium veer right onto Croton Street. At the next stop sign turn right onto Laurel Street, you will begin to see the school up ahead. At the next stop sign turn left and take your first right into the parking lot at the rear of the school. Follow AAU signs for entrance into gymnasium.

RFA to Stadium Support Facility
At the end of Dart Circle turn LEFT onto 825N, stay on 825N until you are out of Griffiss Park. The road will become Chestnut St. Stay straight until Madison St. At light turn LEFT on to Madison St. Stay on Madison St. till Pine St. Turn RIGHT then LEFT into parking lot at Stadium Support.

DIRECTIONS LEAVING STALEY

Staley to RFA
Turn right out of the school. At the second light vere right. Follow Sixth Street till you are past Pinti Field; turn right onto Fifth Street as Sixth Street turns into a one way street. At the light turn left onto E. Dominick Street. Go through 3 sets of lights following the sign for “Griffiss Park”, after Navelli Car Dealership, turn left. (if you go by King Pin Bowling Alley you have gone too far). At the top of the hill turn left onto 825 and take your first left onto Dart Circle and into the school parking lot.

Staley to Strough
Turn left out of the school. Follow E. Bloomfield Street until it turns into Rt. 26 or Turin Street. Stay straight on Turin until you see our old high school on your right. At that light turn left onto Laurel Street. At your first stop sign turn left and take your first right into the school parking lot.

Staley to Stadium Support Facility
Upon leaving Staley take a LEFT onto E Bloomfield St. Continue to James St., crossing James St, stay straight it turns into Turin Rd. At Madison St. turn RIGHT then LEFT onto E Linden St. Then take your first RIGHT into an alley, which is Earl St. Stadium Support parking lot is on your left.

DIRECTIONS LEAVING STROUGH

Strough to Staley
Turn left out of parking lot. At first stop sign turn right. At your first light turn right (not the sharp turn right) onto Turin Street. Follow Turin till you get to James Street at that light stay straight but the road turns into E. Bloomfield Street. Follow to the end of Bloomfield Street, the school will be on your right. Park on the side near the rear of the building.

Strough to RFA
Turn left out of the parking lot. At first stop sign turn right. At your first light turn left, go by the old high school and stadium. At Chestnut Street (Rome Teachers Credit Union) turn right. Stay straight on Chestnut and follow it into Griffiss Park Follow AAU signs to the high school entrance. RFA on the right, you turn RIGHT into Dart Circle.

Strough to Stadium Support Facility
Leaving the parking lot turn LEFT onto Union St. Take a RIGHT at the stop sign onto Laurel St. Continue on Laurel St until the traffic light. At the light take the 2nd Right and then a quick LEFT on to Linden St. Take a quick LEFT on the alley called Earl St. The Stadium Support parking lot is on the left.
